Manga and Anime

I chose to investigate anime and its influence on Western animation as the art form significantly influences my creative work. Anime is an abbreviated pronunciation in Japanese for ‘animation.’ Anime is the result of creating animation based on original manga stories (a style of illustration used in comic books that we widely read by all ages of Japanese people). Manga is the elder brother of anime, and most anime wsa based on manga. There are different genres of manga comics. For example, there are housewife mangas and sports mangas.  I researched whether anime influenced Western animation and needed to understand its origins and principles.  I remember being a kid to a teenager who saw anime’s three animations: Robotech, Kimba (1966) and Sapphire (Princess Knight, 1967 - 1968).  My sketches are here. Character Poses: Fantasy Illustration

It was my research for fantasy illustration on 19th August 2011. I used to give depth and solidity to the subject. I thought of an artistic concept in the fantasy illustration. Personal Character Design

I planned to research the anatomy of women and aspects of ancient Egypt on books and the internet. It was so that I could draw an accurate character relating to the form of a woman. Research is THE MOST important! That was what I did my work for a project at the university. I transferred my concepts to Adobe Illustrator, and then I used to practice drawing skills - a character design to experiment with different colours and use marker pens. Model sheet of a character

Before I first researched wolves and humans on the website. Then, I drew on the sketches - design and illustration of a character to practice drawing skills and computer graphics in Adobe Photoshop. 1. Pencil drawing 2. Pencil drawing Illustration of a character to practice with paint brushes without Adobe Photoshop. A computer graphics within Adobe Photoshop for werewolf's poses. I created illustrations in Adobe Photoshop. The moon has illuminated parts of the werewolf and his surroundings. This task aimed to place my character in his natural environment.
